Time to Make it Official (With your besties that is)

One of the first things you will want to do after getting engaged, is to start thinking of who you would like to have stand by your side on one of the most important days of your life! They're the ones who have been with you through thick and thin. Your bridesmaids, especially your maid-of-honor, will be crucial to you throughout your wedding planning process.

It’s important to discuss your bridal party with your fiancé, but really try to focus on your relationships with these friends, rather than keeping a balance. We have had a few brides ask us the appropriate numbers of bridesmaids and groomsmen to have at their wedding. Some worry that if they don't have the same amount either side that things will look “off” for pictures. They end up asking additional friends that they may not have asked initially, to then be involved. We are here to tell you that there is no “appropriate” number to have! Don't let numbers rule your decision, at the end of the day, these are friends that are the most special to you. Stick to making sure those around you are truly the people you want with you!

That being said, we have come up with a few creative ways to ask your besties to be your bridesmaids!

1. Confetti Envelope: We might be a little biased but this is a fun way to get the party started as soon as they open the envelope with a blast of confetti!

2. A personalized box of goodies: Shop the dollar bins of Michaels for a few cute accessories to personalize each box.

3.  Bottle of bubbly: Shopping on Etsy will quickly become your best friend for creative, personalized wedding gifts and decor. Champagne bottles with personalized labels will make for another perfect way to start the celebrations!
